Metaformers Awarded a Master Enabling Agreement for CSU

March 2006
San Francisco, California

Metaformers, a leading information systems consulting firm, announced that the Chancellor's Office of the California State University System has awarded the firm a Master Enabling Agreement as a part of their ongoing system-wide Common Management System (CMS) initiative. Under the terms of this contract, Metaformers is authorized to provide implementation, upgrade, strategic support, technical, and production backfill services to the 23 campuses of the Cal State system in support of their PeopleSoft Financial and HR systems.

The California State University (CSU) system is the largest university system in the United States, with 405,000 students and 44,000 faculty members spread across its 23 campuses. In 1998, CSU embarked on a program to consolidate its various administrative systems under a single Common Management System (CMS) powered by PeopleSoft ERP products. The mission of the CSU's Common Management Systems project is to provide efficient, effective, high quality service to students, faculty, and staff.

Metaformers successful partnership with CSU started in 2004 with participation in the Financials upgrade project at Cal State LA. The company has since participated in new HR module implementations on campus.

The scope of this Master Enabling Agreement will include project management, implementation and upgrade services to the individual campuses and the central Chancellors office. The lifetime of the contract is 5 years and will expire on December 31, 2010. All campuses are expected to have significant demand for high quality consulting services during this period.

We are very excited for this opportunity to expand our successful partnership with the Cal State campuses, said Dave Hendrickson, Director of Metaformers West Region.
