Shoot for Charity at OpenWorld 2011

Metaformers understands that in these difficult times, charitable giving does not always come easily. Yet charities need our support to continue their work now more than ever. At the OpenWorld 2011 conference in San Francisco, California, from October 2nd to October 6th, Metaformers will help you Shoot for Charity! Attendees will have the chance to shoot baskets at the Metaformers booth and each basket can be used as a vote for their favorite charity. Metaformers will make donations to each of the top three charities.

There is no need to wait for the conference to vote, however. You can vote for your favorite charity twice -- once now and again when you Shoot for Charity in Moscone West at Booth 3231. Metaformers will add all the votes together and the three charities with the most votes win!

	Founded in 1924, the American Heart Association today is the nation's oldest and largest voluntary health organization dedicated to building healthier lives, free of heart disease and stroke. These diseases, America's No. 1 and No. 3 killers, and all other cardiovascular diseases claim nearly 870,000 lives a year. In fiscal year 2006-07 the association invested more than $554 million in research, professional and public education, advocacy and community service programs to help all Americans live longer, healthier lives.
	The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. Since its creation, the Foundation has granted the wishes of more than 141,000 children. A wish is granted every 41 minutes. 	Founded in 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors children, ages 6-18, in communities across the country. Our mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth. National research has shown that positive relationships between youth and their Big Brothers and Big Sisters mentors have a direct and measurable impact on children's lives.
